Financial Support for Current Ph.D. Students

Department of Economics - Summer Grant

We invite continuing students in financial need to apply for a stipend to support progress towards their degree.

Applicants must be Econ PhD students in their second year or higher (no current first-years may apply).
To apply, submit this form by the application deadline for funding for the following academic year.
The application deadline is May 6th at 8 a.m. Pacific Time.
Award decisions will be announced by late May.

Fellowship will provide students with a stipend and coverage of tuition and fees.
Applicants must be full-time Econ Ph.D. students who have already passed the Qualifying Exam.
To apply, submit this form by the application deadline for funding for the following academic year.
- Your faculty member also needs to submit their letter of recommendation by the same date for your application to be considered complete.
The application deadline is May 6th at 8 a.m. Pacific Time.
